AMD Stock Price Prediction Model

To construct a machine learning model for AMD stock prediction, we commenced by amassing a comprehensive dataset encompassing historical stock prices, pertinent economic indicators, and relevant news articles. Additionally, we incorporated technical indicators such as moving averages and relative strength index to capture market sentiment and momentum. Furthermore, sentiment analysis techniques were employed to extract sentiment polarity from news articles related to AMD.

In selecting an appropriate machine learning algorithm, we meticulously evaluated various models, including linear regression, decision trees, random forests, and gradient boosting machines. Subsequently, we opted for a gradient boosting machine due to its robustness in handling large datasets and its ability to capture non-linear relationships within the data. We meticulously tuned the hyperparameters of the model, such as the learning rate and the number of trees, through cross-validation to optimize its performance.

Upon finalizing the machine learning model, we diligently assessed its performance using various metrics, including mean absolute error, mean squared error, and R-squared. The model demonstrated remarkable accuracy in predicting AMD stock prices, surpassing several benchmark models. Moreover, we conducted extensive sensitivity analyses to evaluate the model's robustness to different market conditions and economic scenarios. The model exhibited resilience and maintained its predictive power across a range of market conditions, providing confidence in its reliability.
